translator Dutch - Russian

I am an experienced Dutch-Russian translator, providing  language services on the freelance basis. My clients include numerous translation agencies, private companies, etc.
I am based not in your country, but it’s all right for the kind of services that I offer to my clients.

Anybody (and you too) can contact me and order a translation.

I try to work as a translator Dutch – Russian (and NOT Russian -Dutch).

Yet I can translate for you some standard marriage/divorce  and death certificates issued by countries of (former) USSR from Dutch into Russian.

Normally I ask only 0.04 euro/word. Sometimes more (0.05 euro/word), but this is to be discussed.

The minimum fee is as low as 7 euro for one  translation (less than 175 words) or little proofreading assignment.

I translate a lot of documents issued by / or for the Dutch or Belgian courts + articles of the associations, etc. Many years of active work with this subject gave me essential experience and knowledge of the specific legislation, rules and norms of Belgian and Dutch business life.

I also speak English and German, but I do not accept any translation assignments with this languages (except some English or German apostille or a few words of notaries that sometimes can be found amid Dutch documents. In such cases my clients do not need to look for another translator English or German)

Are you aiming at a stable, long-term collaboration? Wonderful.

You can rely on me any time.

About me
CAT - tools

I'm a freelance translator of Dutch into Russian. I am a native speaker Russian, born in the USSR, and I spent some time living abroad, in Belgium, where I learned and studied Dutch. Since  2004 I've translated Dutch texts into Russian for many different translation agencies, located in countries of former USSR and in Western Europe. I shall provide you with the references, if you ask for it.

Translations Dutch – Russian is my only occupation for the last 6-7 years; it’s something, that keeps me busy every day. My fields of translation experience include Business/Finance, Law, Articles of Association  and other general areas. I can also speak English (very good ) and German (not good enough to do the written translations). The knowledge of these two languages is a certain advantage, and is very useful  for my work, but yet I do not provide translations in combinations with  English and / or German.

For some reason I don’t use any CAT tool up to this day. Partly because according to my own personal statistics the most (90%) of the source texts that I get for translation have the extensions .png/.jpg/.pdf etc. and partly because I am rather skeptical about the advantages that it gives to the translator (Russian is more difficult to describe for the machine language) and to the quality of the translated texts.
